Overview

Based out of Charlottetown, PE., Dosecann is currently looking for a Manager, Warehouse to join our Operations team.

What can you expect to do

  • Embody Auxly and Dosecann's mission, and strategy, and act in a responsible, ethical, and honest manner while consistently leading by example.
  • Responsible for the full operation of Dosecann’s warehouse and storage areas, with emphasis on customer satisfaction, employee development, operational efficiency, and Dosecann profitability.
  • Manage staff performance through formal performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, and discipline when required. Establish shared and individual targets and set individual development goals.
  • Manage Dosecann’s production-related activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping, and hands-on warehouse support.
  • Implement cost management strategies (i.e., overtime control, casual labour, productivity performance, effective use of equipment etc.) to improve bottom line results while still maintaining or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing teams to maintain accurate warehouse ERP counts and Purchase Order (PO) fulfillment.
  • Prepare and present reports referencing PO fill rates and shortages/overages to Dosecann and Auxly Senior Management.
  • Monitor forecasts to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
  • Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, optimize customer service, and ensure delivery quantities are optimized.
  • Maintain all warehouse facilities in a safe and responsible manner and recommend improvement for facilities, new equipment or upgrading of existing equipment to maximize facility output.
  • Lead and support the team in their involvement in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
  • Ensure all Dosecann activities are managed in strict compliance with health, safety, quality. as well as in accordance with Auxly and local provincial and federal policies and regulations.
  • Foster and maintain a safe, equal, and equitable work environment for all team member and external stakeholders alike.
  • Other related duties or projects as assigned, and as operationally required.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years overall experience in a warehouse setting, including 3+ years management/supervisory experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience using an ERP system is mandatory.
  • Proven knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suites, include Excel; strong analytical & problem-solving skills; able to develop own control tools to monitor and report inventory and KPI reports.
  • Efficient inventory management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills to achieve cross-functional teams’ success.
