    Dosecann is a Canadian licensed dealer dedicated to developing Cannabis Solutions for the global cannabis industry. Dosecann has assembled a world-class team housed in a purpose-built, 52,000 sq. ft. GMP compliant facility that will be the hub for cannabis extraction, product innovation and formulation.


    Dosecann is currently recruiting for a Procurement & Inventory Lead supporting the Manufacturing Department. This role will oversee the efficiency of the Procurement department and ensure that from a supervisory capacity all end goals are achieved. The successful candidate will bring expertise in Procurement processes and procedures, offer a strong background in people management within a manufacturing environment, and be comfortable with key stakeholder communication.  


    The Procurement & Inventory Quality Lead will have a comprehensive understanding of procurement requirements and ERP systems including knowledge of the procurement channels, approved supplier lists, and supplier identification. They work fast, have a passion for customer service and are effective at cross-functional teamwork. With basic technical and supplier knowledge they have the ability to support operations, quality, sales, and customer service teams.


    • Source and review suppliers according to defined procedures and regulations.
    • Ensure the quality of services provided and contributes to the improvement and knowledge management of the purchasing process.
    • Develop and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors as well as with the QC team.
    • Perform inventory quality checks will be to evaluate the materials and supplies are provided as sourced/expected.
    • Work with QC team to identify any issues with inventory received from our suppliers.  
    • Responsible for sourcing, evaluating and reviewing suppliers, inventory and materials for purchase.
    • Utilize ERP software systems, like Sage to proactively manage, control and understand inventory.
    • Work with finance, sales, quality, maintenance, and manufacturing teams to determine best vendors and distributors.
    • Proactively build and maintain good relationships with vendors, with the intention of creating a long term relationship.
    • Manages day-to-day interactions with suppliers and handle any problems or concerns.
    • Track deviations and raise non-conformance issues with suppliers and inventory.
    • Maintain material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products.
    • Other duties the Company may assign from time to time.


    • Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or relevant field.
    • Experience in sourcing materials and equipment.
    • Experience using an ERP/MRP system.
    • Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.

    What will set you apart

    • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, inventory planning or warehousing
    • High level of interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively, build teams and work within/lead cross functional teams
    • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principals/methods and manufacturing deployment/ sustainability
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Must have the flexibility to adapt to changing customer demands and schedules.
